I just commented the other day about how there is still an unnerving element to seeing a Waymo (or two or three) drive by you. The absence of any human not only behind the wheel, but often in the front two seats is just eerie.

But “the proof is in the pudding” and a recent data dump from Waymo shows some amazing data about the safety of their autonomous software and cars.

Waymos are making the streets safer, and the speed in which they are solving the problem of automotive accidents is indeed a good thing.

They are today’s good thing. And we get into it after the paywall.
