It didn't take a village, but it took a few firemen.

In my book both dog rescues and firemen are good about 99.23432% of the time. If you are similarly aligned, this is a post for you.

On December 22nd in Tulsa Oklahoma the Fire Department received a rather unusual call.

A citizen called from responded to assist a citizen near the Northwestern edge of the city.

A dog had fallen nearly 30 feet into an exposed storm drain.

Needless to say they did it! Video is below, but first some observations:

• it took about 8 people.

• They had a cool contraption to lower the savior down.

• Listen to the commentary of the person who performed the rescue.
