Optimizing Algorithms is Good
Dijkstra's Algorithm's is an important one, and it has been improved.
If you have ever used Waze, Google Maps, Apple Maps or another drive routing solution, you have travelled on an optimized route.
If you have ever flown commercial or private, you have traveled on an optimized route.
If you have sent an email or data through the internet, your data gets to its location via an optimized route.
These optimized routes all have Dijkstra’s Algorithm at their core.
That algorithm has been used since 1959, it doesn’t get improved often, but it is so important that when it is improved it’s a notable mathematical accomplishment.
