Admittedly, I may have gone overboard with my ‘M’ alliterations.

Onto the good news.

In Canada, there has been a remarkable breakthrough in the use of magnetic microrobots for precise drug delivery. Tiny robots which can admister highly targeted treatments defying gravity and fighting against the tide of blood flow. This treatment uses algorithms that take into account magnetic fields generated by MRIs to guide microrobots through intricate pathways to fight the good fight against liver tumors (for example.)

Advanced drug-delivery is a really interesting field. And this field of study, unlocking the potential of magnetic microrobots and harnessing the forces of nature, brings a future that is precise and effective closer and closer.

More details after the break.
