Let’s imagine you overheard aspects of today’s good thing in a public place. Maybe the only words you catch are “submerged car” “rescue” and “fireman.” You might think this was a discussion about a movie of marginal value.

But there’s real value and real heroism (and a real hero) in today’s Good Thing, because there was a submerged car in Texas along the Gulf of America nee Mexico.

And it was good.
