Shipping containers are designed to be innocuous, but useful. Mostly stacked on massive ships bringing goods to and fro. If you watch too many action movies, you might think they fall off the tanker more than they actually do, but I’m sure most people don’t think about them.
And that’s kind of the genius of the shipping business. Your suppose to see, but not appreciate the scale and import of it, but what is happening day in and day out is that millions of nearly identical steel boxes quietly move televisions, shoes, coffee beans, bicycles, and everything else and fuel the global economy.
The way this works is that most arrive exactly where they’re meant to.
However, some do not.
