Bringing a loved one happiness and joy is unquestionably a good thing.
Christmas came early this past December for Christine Cross.
How? Before that, let me tell you a little about Ms. Cross. She has a daughter, Lindsay. She’s a retired special-needs teacher. Some might say she’s a little bit obsessed with penguins.
How so?
Well…
Her home is a veritable penguin paradise, it’s filled with penguin figurines, penguin toys, penguin stuffed animals and even penguin-themed clothing. To boot, she's also supported penguin conservation efforts at zoos for years.
And so this brings us to this past December, when Lindsay brought her mother to SeaWorld for an in person encounter with her favorite feathered friends.
Just watch this video:
Needless to say, the experience was truly unforgettable, in Lindsay’s words:
"When we got back, I lost count of how many times she said thank you!"
so affirming to see a thoughtful adult chid and a grateful elder. I am so blessed to have and be both!
