You know, we've talked about beavers before, and how they're a vital, yet easily forgotten element in eco-systems, in our post about the Tulip Beaver project. But we’re back with these semi-aquatic rodents again, this time casting our eyes across the ocean to Portugal. Their reintroduction there (love that three word play!) is set to once again reposition these little animals as the potential heroes of irrigation, drainage, and ecosystem resuscitation.
