Making those black panels palatable
The writer of this substack happens to like architecture. Integrating the black solar panels into a new or existing aesthetic has been problematic. Case in point Amsterdam, whose historic center is a protected conservation area, where it has been deemed that solar panels ruin the traditional landscape and are therefore not permitted.
