This morning I came across my new favorite thing produced amongst the tidal wave of AI apps and news.
Consensus AI is, simply put, a search engine for scientific research. Now, you might think this has a very limited audience, or small impact on everyday life, but I think not. We all need easier ways of standing on the shoulders of smart people or teams of smart people and one of the many things Consensus.AI does is nicely and succinctly summarize scientific papers written by such humans. In our modern world of alternative facts and binary news sources, it’s going to be wonderful getting the gist of research at our beck and call.
Scientific research is, rightfully so, tedious work, but gaining value from it shouldn’t be. Expert knowledge and evidence-based answers are now rendered quickly, accessible and consumable for all.
