A Brief Bit on Black Friday

Good news in just a single sentence.

There are some goofy unofficial holidays.

• International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day (Feb 23)

• No Pants Day (May 5)

• Chaos Never Dies Day (November 9)

And who could ever forget about, once they heard about

• Insurance Nerd Day (July 18)

November 19 is the World Toilet Day.

This may or may not be its official logo:

To me, it’s more likely this isa marketing effort by Toto than anything legit, or it could be a joke.

It isn’t! It actually has a mission, “to highlight the importance of toilets for health, hygiene, and safety.”

Anyway, I came across this single factoid from the WHO that was published on World Toilet Day and I defy anyone to tell me it’s not a very, very, very good thing.

Since 2000, the number of people who practice open defecation has reduced by 68 percent.
